Community Care

At Sunshine & Bloom Bakery, everything I create begins from a place of care.

From time to time, when I have the capacity, I offer a meal, baked goods, or a celebration cake to a family going through a difficult season. This is a small, heart-led offering meant to bring comfort, nourishment, and a little extra light during hard times.

Community Care is not a formal program, and availability is limited. Because capacity is limited, not all requests can be fulfilled. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection.

Please note:

• This offering is intended for local South Florida families

• If outside of Broward County, pickup coordination may be required

What may be offered:

Depending on availability and the family’s needs, Community Care may include one of the following:

• a birthday or celebration cake for a child or student

• a dozen fresh muffins

• a plant-based family meal

Important notes:

All items are fully plant-based and made with high-quality ingredients in a home kitchen.

At this time, I am not able to accommodate allergen-specific requests such as gluten-free or nut-free items.

Nominations are especially welcomed from:

• teachers

• school staff

• counselors

• community leaders

• others who know a family personally and understand their situation
